POSITION OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBIlITIES
The Brand Marketing Director will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and work closely with the marketing team to coordinate the brand awareness and marketing efforts of Business Connect. They will lead the brand marketing team, manage brand-related marketing efforts including email marketing, social media, and events, and ensure alignment with Business Connect’s mission to provide life-enhancing solutions to make impact around the world.
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing public relations and investor relations to enhance the organization’s image and foster key stakeholder engagement
- Leading efforts to grow the Business Connect brand, including storytelling, brand equity, and mission alignment
- Marketing Business Connect’s efforts to diverse audiences through innovative campaigns and targeted outreach
- Leading and mentoring the Brand Marketing Team to ensure aligned efforts and high performance
- Monitoring and guiding social media, email, and event marketing strategies to ensure consistent brand messaging and development
- Collaborating with team leads and directors to align marketing efforts across the organization
- Collaborating on the development of evergreen content to build and strengthen the brand
- Attending meetings, conferences, and other events to represent and promote Business Connect, as needed
- Supporting in one-off marketing projects and efforts depending on availability
Key Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5-7 years of experience in brand management or marketing roles, with a proven track record of success
- Familiarity with purpose-driven marketing and a passion for social impact
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring teams
- Strategic thinking and the ability to execute plans effectively
- Proficiency with relevant tools, such as Salesforce, MailChimp, Loomly, Avantlink and ClickUp
