Creative Marketing Assistant/Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Creative Marketing Assistant/Specialist will work closely with the Creative Marketing Director and other marketing team members to craft and manage thoughtful, impactful content. This role is instrumental in supporting creative strategy, coordinating projects, and ensuring smooth communication between freelancers and internal stakeholders. 

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing and maintaining contracts for photo/video projects with freelancers, both domestic and international.
  • Organizing and maintaining creative assets to ensure project completion and accessibility.
  • Assisting the Creative Marketing Director with pre-production tasks for graphic design projects.
  • Drafting and editing long and short-form content.
  • Assisting with content creation and copywriting as needed.
  • Designing assets across various mediums, including print, digital, and social media (e.g., brochures, email campaigns, advertisements, website assets, and social media graphics).
  • Collaborating with content writers, graphic designers, and videographers to produce high-quality materials.
  • Supporting creative strategies with data-driven insights.
  • Supporting team efforts on one-off marketing and creative projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in creative marketing or creative contract management.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and ClickUp.
  • A marketing-oriented mindset with video editing and graphic design experience
  • Proficiency in project management and ability to manage multiple tasks across platforms (e.g., contracts, email campaigns, social media, blogs).
  • Familiarity with creative processes and experience collaborating with graphic designers, writers, and videographers.
  • Experience in a creative agency setting is highly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to maintain asset libraries, brand guidelines, and project timelines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration within a team environment.

This is a dynamic role suited for a self-starter passionate about marketing, storytelling, and design, with the ambition to grow into a strategic creative position.
