The filter’s pores are 0.2 microns, smaller than the average bacteria size (3 microns). After passing filtration tests, units are treated with colloidal silver, which inhibits bacterial reproduction. This ensures the filter’s effectiveness for up to two years, after which the filter unit is replaced, without harming human health.
