Logistics & Procurement Specialist
Strategically plan and manage the logistics, transportation, and procurement of product
- Liaise with sales staff, warehouse staff, vendors/manufacturers, and shipping carriers
- Keep track of quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency on a weekly basis
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to logistics or procurement
- Work with HQ Operations Manager to forecast and place orders for product
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Maintain metrics and analyze data
- Assess performance and implement improvements
- On time in full order accuracy/on time delivery accuracy- quarterly basis
- Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
- Implement and maintain SOPs for all job functions

POSITION OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBIlITIES
The scope of the role will involve Business Connect project management. This role will be under the direct supervision of the Operations Director of Business Connect.
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Production of Business Connect Products

- Maintain equipment
- Assist with inventory tracking & management
- Assist with maintaining the warehouse, staging and storage of products
- Manage all domestic and international freight

- Manage procurement based on forecasts
- Work with Warehouse manager to ensure outbound product readiness
- Maintain accurate records of upcoming, received, and in-transit shipments
- Communicate directly with suppliers and carriers on order statuses

- Track incoming shipments
- Manage outbound shipments with help from the Production Specialist
- Supervise FBA inbound shipments and inventory level reports
- Maintain inventory accuracy in ecommerce warehouses
- Liaise with Customer Service department on outbound order issues
