The mapping tool created by BushProof Sàrl and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation is an accessible and user-friendly open-source software that enables groundwater to be mapped in southern Madagascar.

The tool is based on an Excel database and geopackages developed with QGIS software, which can be downloaded and displayed on a map interface in which all the data is georeferenced.

The data gathered for this work is freely accessible and must be made available to everyone, and the database and geopackages will be regularly updated in the future, incorporating new relevant data and information.
