Internship Objectives:

This internship is designed to provide you with practical, hands-on experience in the basics of B2B International Sales. You will gain a foundational understanding of the sales process, workflow and sales admin procedures, how to identify market gaps and opportunities, and prepare you for a career in International business. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation:
  • Focusing on 1-3 Manufacturers/Brands, become knowledgeable on the products and technologies offered, and how they help solve a specific issue in the marketplace.
  • Identify sales opportunities by pinpointing gaps in the U.S. retail market, and the countries where current distribution exists.
  • Learn how to gather and qualify leads leveraging various tools, and platforms available. .
  • Assist in developing and refining targeting strategies for various brands and markets.
  1. Campaign Management:
  • Collect and compile qualified leads, and learn how to identify the best avenue of approach
  • Assist in creating, and drafting email campaigns focused on outreach, and first contact.
  • Analyze campaign results and key performance metrics to accurately measure success and improve future campaigns.
  1. Sales Support/Admin:
  • Manage sales assets for the current distribution network by organizing and updating as needed.
  • Create and summarize reports on an ad hoc basis, or as required by a regular cadence.
  • Analyze sales data and reports to measure campaign effectiveness, current market trends, and areas of opportunity. 
  • Research new markets, competitors, emerging technologies, and future conferences/events. 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school degree and active enrollment in university or community college
  • Must have a heart for international needs and social impact
  • Must be self-reliant and self-driven, able to work independently
  • Available to meet remotely via Google Meet for weekly touchpoints
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work across teams 
  • Preferred: Experience in Salesforce, Clickup, Gemini, and Google Suite.
