Internship Objectives:

This internship is designed to provide the intern with practical, hands-on experience in managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across key digital platforms. The intern will gain a foundational understanding of digital marketing principles, data analysis, and campaign optimization techniques, preparing them for a career in digital advertising.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Support & Management:
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram).
  • Learn to set up, monitor, and adjust campaigns under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Support the creation of ad copy and visual assets, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Assist in developing and refining audience targeting strategies for various platforms.
  1. Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Collect and compile performance data from Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Assist in analyzing campaign performance metrics (e.g., impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, CPA, ROAS).
  • Help prepare regular performance reports, identifying trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Contribute to A/B testing initiatives to determine the most effective ad creatives, copy, and targeting.
  1. Keyword & Trend Research:
  • Conduct keyword research for Google Ads to identify relevant and high-performing search terms.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, platform updates, and best practices in Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and Meta Ads.
  • Research competitor advertising strategies and identify market opportunities.

Position Overview and Responsibilities

  • Research marketing trends and tactics for each area of the world
  • Collaborate with team to ensure unified communications
  • Attend weekly one-on-one meetings and monthly team meetings

Requirements and Qualifications

    • High school degree and active enrollment in university or community college
    • Must have a heart for international needs and social impact
    • Must be self-reliant and self-driven, able to work independently
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Social media native and up to date with trends 
    • Preferred: graphic design experience, marketing experience

Business Connect’s Headquarter Team includes interns who work in tandem with our staff to maximize the availability of products, providing communities in the developing world with greater access to essential resources while building sound business opportunities that will create more jobs and economic stability.

Through this internship, you will gain real-world experience working with our partners around the world. These are fully remote positions that will allow you to develop your skills and learn from the global team. You will have the flexibility to set your own schedule as well as contribute to projects that you are most passionate about.

Please note: Internship requires 5-15 hours per week. College credit may be available for this role.
