Position Overview & Responsibilities

The Marketing & HR Coordinator will work closely with the marketing team to coordinate social media marketing efforts for Business Connect, including providing insight on top performing posts, creating content and building social media strategy. They will also work with the Chief Operations Officer to coordinate our intern program each term, which entails the interviewing, hiring, training and task management of interns.

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating and managing social media content for the various platforms
  • Engaging with audience on social media
  • Curating user-generated content
  • Analyzing social media report data to provide recommendations
  • Organizing the interviewing and hiring of interns
  • Facilitating team building activities and engagement
  • Coordinating intern program including intern activities, program feedback, and drive
  • Monitoring interns to ensure all tasks are being completed and gaps are filled in
  • Supporting in one-off marketing efforts depending on availability
