POSITION OVERVIEW AND Responsibilities

The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the other marketing team members, Brand Director and Digital Director to coordinate marketing efforts for Business Connect. This includes managing our existing affiliate network, recruitment of new affiliates, handling customer service requests via email and phone from a variety of channels and support event marketing. They will also work with the marketing team to support various additional projects on an as-need basis.

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining relationships with current affiliates within the affiliate program
  • Recruitment of new affiliates
  • Undertaking pricing/contract negotiations with potential affiliate partners
  • Ideate new and creative ways to expand our reach through affiliate partnerships
  • Compiling and analyzing data for reporting purposes
  • Provide exceptional phone and email customer service on a variety of platforms
  • Evaluate and select optimal industry events to align with strategic goals.
  • Work with leadership to develop event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and manage costs
  • Coordinate event logistics, including booth design and material procurement, at 12+ events/yr
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and distribute IR & PR content

Preferred experience (1-3 years)

  • Affiliate Marketing (Avant link Experience a Plus)
  • Customer Service or Similar Role
  • Degree or certifications in related field

  • Strong editing and proofreading skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality content

  • Foundational understanding of digital marketing concepts
